Sue Vantine is a Community Case Manager, a previous Director of 5 Home Care franchise locations in Virginia, and the President and Owner of NovaCares, a Patient Advocacy Company.  Sue currently works with the Department of Social Services, Adult Protective Services division (APS), in Winchester, Frederick, Warren, and Clarke Counties as a Court Appointed Guardian and Conservator for APS clients.  As part of the Valley Health System’s Winchester Medical Center’s Patient Advisory Committee, the Dementia Alliance Council, and the Alzheimer’s Association, Sue remains active representing seniors within the community.  Having been in the Senior Healthcare industry for over 30 years, Sue’s passion for serving seniors and their families is highly recognized. As a Certified Dementia Trainer, Sue studied under the expertise of Master Trainer, Teepa Snow. From that training, Sue has co-developed a subsidiary to her NovaCares company called A Walk in the World of Dementia which brings to the industry a unique, interactive and hands-on dementia training program.   Sue brings a wealth of knowledge to the senior industry, with a focus on Caregiver Burnout, Helping Seniors Maintain Dignity and Independence, Dementia Training Techniques for the Caregiver, and Senior Abuse Protection.
